Blackpool 11 yr old gang leader

Seriously?

How the hell does this happen? Not just how does an 11yr old end up like this, but the police clearly feel powerless to deal with the situation.

There's a point where he needs to be written off and the problem dealt with.

“He will know that it takes a team of people to redress this situation, it’s about education, it’s about the local authority, it’s about a good policing approach and I think this will be an excellent topic for a debate, and I’d encourage him to apply for it in the usual way.”

Thanks for that Penny - can you please have a quick chat with Liz about paying for it?

Fine the parents every time their offspring offend. Also there is the smashing element of surprise -if you know where they live-windows are costly to replace I hear.😉

The police can't do owt because of the brilliant institution that is Blackpool Borough Council.

FFS that just gives the green light to these scroats of society to keep creating misery for the locals of Talbot and Brunswick.

The Police could start by rounding up the groups of kids roaming the town centre at 4 in the morning. Find out why their parents don’t mind them wandering around all night causing shit.
The recent documentary showing problem-children homes that have sprung up across Blackpool, where kids get sent to from all over the country, mean the parents of this kid may well live 200 miles away.

Corking idea Trammo. 👍

Meet anarchy with anarchy.

And then you, LaLa and Westby will be wondering why your living and bedrooms are so chilly.

“Where’s me windows?”

Must be a clever lad, I'd promote him to chief executive of the Council
Or indeed Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Back to the op - sounds to me like Scott has been told by Liz to give Penny a hard time in the hope Penny toes the line in future. And tries to stay awake during PMQs.

To be fair to me it was the fining of the parents that I was in agreement with.

Shame you never think outside the box Mex. You would be useless in the SAS you’d be blowing a horn to let the enemy know you are coming or playing a recording of your pal Brian Blessed bellowing on the bog because he is constipated.

Who said life is fair?

To be fair I’m a long way from being convinced by Scott’s argument that an 11 year old has somehow taken control of a Southshore based Organised Crime Group. And is now the mastermind behind all criminal activity in the area.

Don’t get me wrong. 11 year olds can be annoying little pricks. But that’s not to say we need to get in a moral panic about it.

That said I’m waiting for the “Breaking News!!!” Banner lines on GBTV.

Now do you get it oh my gawd you are almost as thick as Recidivist3 🤣😜
Well if my windows go through tonight I know exactly where to look.

Not the sharpest knife in the drawer sometimes Trammo.

I didn’t say life was fair. I was making a point that I agreed with the fining of the parents.

As for true or not the article infers that it is anti-social related crime, so I’m assuming he isn’t implying that this lad is some kind of criminal mastermind.

As for the rest of it I think its fair for people to be raising this as a serious concern, or if you prefer, a moral panic. If I were living in these wards I would feel some concern. Kids can be just as intimidating as adults if that is their intention. And why should we not take some kind of action to remedy behaviour that is clearly unacceptable and law breaking.

Anyway, I feel that’s as much justification as I need to put out there for feeling like parents have some, if not most, of the accountability for their childrens behaviour.

Scott didn’t say he was a criminal mastermind I agree. That was my interpretation.

But Scott did say the 11year old was “the ringleader” of a gang that had committed “hundreds of crimes”.

So back to the real point.

Is Scott over egging the pudding? And exaggerating what you’ve acknowledged is just anti social behaviour?

And if so - why?

The article mentions anti-social behaviour related crimes further down so I assume this is what has been alluded to in his request to discuss how some remedy or resolution can be worked on.

I don’t see the problem with any of that to be honest.

Oh there would be hundreds of suspects Vidkun🇬🇧

I may have heard it incorrectly on the radio this morning.... (wouldn't be the first time 🤯), but police are saying they can't do anything because of his age.
I was always under the impression that 10 years of age is used as the 'start line' as regards criminal responsibility.

If this scrote is 11 years old, then surely he should already be in the criminal justice system?
Seems that his career path has already been established, but no doubt we'll have to go down the 'cognitive, fluffy bunnies' route before anything substantial is done with him.

His crimes will only get worse over time, and any juvenile detention time he gets will only be seen as a 'badge of honour', and give him kudos amongst like minded scrotes...

(Rant mode off...... for now! 🤣)

Could be right with some cases, but as some of the kids I see regularly are aged between 9-13, you’d think their residences would be secure, and if not the homes should be closed down.
The last group I saw causing havoc was on Tuesday night, so they obviously don’t go to any kind of schooling either.

Sounds like made up shite to me…an 11 year old has fought his way to be Leader of a feared gang of ne’er do wells……..😂
