Blackpool 4-2 Preston | Championship highlights

The fourth goal it was Jerry who edged out their keeper and I think he would have liked the ball back to get his hat trick, but CJ only had one thought, and as he does, he looked up and took his time to make sure he knew where the goal was. Cool finish.
Unless he went first time, Jerry was offside. I didn't have much trust in CJ scoring it with his right foot either though 😅

I said in the Sony Carey thread that his run and lay off to Charlie was outstanding.
But I hadn't noticed how Charlie skilfully hit across the ball to beat the keeper.

Brilliant goal, Charlie's dinked cross for Jerry's second wasn't too shabby either

Well done lads 👏 👏 👏

Just catching up with this. That fourth goal is a thing of beauty from CJ on his right foot considering if that was on his good side six yards out with nobody to beat you'd be expecting it to balloon over the bar.

Patino with the KDH vibes. Basic skills higher than the level he's performing at. The ball goes exactly where he wants to hit it. Obviously here for all the all round stuff and its just a start but I think he might play in a few more higher profile derbies than that in future.

What can you say about Jerry when his goal output matches his workrate and enthusiasm for it. What a guy.

Sloppy two goals to concede and that's the jeckyl and hyde side of us this year that when we calm down from this makes a trip to Cov extra difficult. As well as 25 of the 25 man squad being injured because they always are.

Grant Ward get your boots sorted for next week.

I was only thinking after the game, how many times has that happened with us where it has done just that! Best long range goal since Wellens?
