I've known Jane for years, been to games with her, drank with her and she is like a stick of rock, she has Blackpool through and through her. She is not one to say things lightly, she is generally restrained and optimistic but that was from the heart, it wasn't strange at all, it was how many supporters feel apart from some on here who just won't ever have a bad word said about the club and get abusive to anyone who dares to speak out, I've had it today on a few threads.
We don't want to be aiming for one place above relegation, we don't want to be told we are over achieving, we want people in the club who believe in it and who want to push for the EPL, not League 1 mid table and that is exactly what we have. Maybe Sadler is finally realising this and that he's been had over by those who are supposed to be protecting his interests, they are taking the piss, I really hope he fuck's them off and gets some really good people around him who have ambition and skill to make it happen, we need a manager and assistant that can do that, a CEO who can do that (Matt Williams) a director of football who can do that and players who believe it.
There are too many people with their head in the sand, same as the mushrooms were, wake the fuck up and see what's happening here. I hope Sadler has, because if he has then we have a chance. The next 4 months are crucial and we need to be prepared for next season with a new zest and the right mindset.
