Blackpool chant

Hi there everyone. This is my first post so be kind please.
Was at the match yesterday and loved the chant about being the only team in tangerine and white, but couldn't catch all the words. Could someone please enlighten me.
We follow Blackpool F CCCCCC;
We come from the Seasiiiiide;
The only team in footbaaaaal;
In tangerine and whiiiite;

The boycott years were hard;
We carried heavy loads;

And now you'll hear us singing;
On the stands at Bloomfield Roooooad:

Olay olay olay

Hello 1953+1. Of course, we lost to Port Vale that year so...hmmm, maybe your user name needs some work. Even so, welcome to the party.

We follow Blackpool FC
We come from Merseyside
The only team in football
Eats burger, slaw and fries
Geoff Boycott he was hard
And he likes sausage rolls
Policing here in Blackpool
Is shite on Bloomfield Rd

Olay Allez Ally

The carry heavy loads line is a bit naff innit?

Nematode rhymes with Road, can we squeeze that instead maybe?

Or explode. Node, mode, code, anode, cathode. Diode. Discommode.

What about, The stands they did corrode"? 🤠

Daft question - but who actually comes up with these lyrics and how do you get a chant started!
