Hi all.

Anyone aware of this tournament? I have a work acquaintance who's Dutch and coaches his sons team. They're interested in playing in this tournament. Any junior coaches know of it? Is it decent quality etc?

Sounds like it was played at Poolfoot a couple of years ago - pre-COVID I guess - but this time it's at the 'Blackpool Enterprize Zone'. I don't recognise that, is it new? If so, what's like in terms of pitches?

Last question - they're looking at accommodation and the Norbreck was suggested. The Dutch guy has read some of the reviews on Trip Advisor and hasn't been impressed (tired rooms/facilities etc.) - any suggestions of a good family location that would let them get easily to the football and all that the golden coast has to offer?

they have built some new pitches closer to the runway and are just about finishing building a new changing room behind south shore cc .teams of all ages competed but not sure of the standard as I didn’t go to watch.Coaches parked on the airport and players shuttled to the ground ,very well organised I must say as I live right next to it .Nigel at Euro Football was the bloke organising it 07496204308

Can't speak for the tournament from a first hand experience, but being in a job where I speak with tourists an awful lot, it seems very well ran and the participants enjoy it.

I was very surprised by just how many people had come to Blackpool for the tournament's this year. They also host an opening ceremony at the tower for it.
