my mate his lad and we got on about this over a cruzcampo pre game.

What actually makes someone a BFC legend? Is it a generational thing that we all have different perceptions of a legend? Is there a right or wrong answer?

To me; Matthews, Morty and Armfield are (never saw the first two and can vaguely remember Jimmy) but i would say no one can really doubt those.

More up to date maybe Ormerod and Charlie Adam.

My mate said; Mike Davies and Keith Southern and his lad (only 11) said Jerry Yates!

Does length of tenure automatically give you legendary statue?

I know there are loads; Ball Green Suddick etc etc. but just interested in others views.

Walsh (Goalof the Season) Hatton (just on Hattricks)

Ormerod (scored in every Div for us) and got us out of the bottom tier and scored that goal into Premiership land

It’s all relative to your era but I think something nationally footie wise has to Bein there
