Blackpool North Train Station Evacuated

Got caught up in a bomb scare in Preston in the 70"s, a dark time.
 
Police closed the road near Aldi Bispham
now , all cordoned off. Probably not related but traffic horrendous top of Devi Road as a result. Avoid !
 
It's a foot asylum bag on the tracks between platform 2 and 3. They have just done a controlled explosion on the item.
Annoyingly I can't post the picture on here for some reason, but the police were concerned about how the string from the bag had become trapped under a railhead and so wouldn't let anyone down to pick it up. Next minute a full scale evacuation.

Bispham Road clear again, a suspicious vehicle apparently. Probably all a bit paranoid today, the sun can do that to you 😏
 
I heard that some of the boys in the Scotland training camp are complaining that they've lost their trainers.
 
They‘ve done a controlled explosion on it apparently. Still not sure what was in there 🫣
