Blackpool till I die

It was a sombre drive back to Cheshire from the match on Friday evening with my 14 year old lad. Whilst I had been reconciled to relegation for a little while, he was living in the hope of a miracle. But we went through the League One table for away trips next year, discussed the squad and potential managers

But for a lad born in Manchester and brought up tangerine by his Sangrown’un Dad, the sight of him belting out Blackpool till I die in the North stand filled me with both pride hope for then future. Down but not out. Burton and Shrewsbury rather than Blackburn and West Brom. We will be back with a new generation of Seasiders

As fellow Cheshire Seasiders, who over many years, have experienced the full range of emotions - relegation changes nothing for us.
We will carry on the same as you, as will our 6 year old grandson, for who relegation hasn't even registered 🤣
BFC will rise again next season & there are some good games to look forward to.
