Blackpool tram attacked

Currently stuck on it - 4 or 5 bricks landed. 1 window shattered with a hole in it - 1 injured as far as I can make out.
 
2 local gentleman seen running from the area.

I drove past the tram and saw loads of police vehicles around, I assumed some clowns must have bricked it.

Very lucky Steb, could have been a lot worse. Hope everyone around you was ok. I was at the front of the tram next to about the only window on the side that didn’t get damaged although it did get struck. Got home around 12:00 am 🙄
 
On cod’s Facebook page. It was their own fans that bricked the coach and an 8 year old fleetwood fan on the team got glass in his eye
Mindless thugs. Hope the little boy is ok

Yes all the Blackpool fans were raging they cods potted all the windows on the tram they were on when there was kids on it.
Why are you trying to make out it was Blackpool fans fault.
 
Absolutely shameful that people can’t use trams with their families and friends and attend a football match without cowards lobbing stones.

Was with England few years ago and this happened to us outside Athens. Police knew it was going to happen but were powerless when we pulled into ‘empty’ stations! Very very scary 😟. I’ve always thought that the Trams would be a target as all away fans at Cod’s go to that stop to get back to Blackpool North. An accident waiting to happen ! Surely Police have someone who thinks about these things ? Oh ! Obviously not !!
 
Ironically the young kid who got glass in his eye is a Fleetwood fan.

I hope the kids not too badly injured, hopefully Old Bill will take heed and ensure no further incidents like this take place.
 
Whether it be Blackpool, Fleetwood or any other football club fans, it matters not. The actions of these complete and utter moronic fools affects us all, whether it be attacking trams or buses, whether it be throwing flares on the pitch or any other items for that matter. Our club is on a warning from the League, other teams are in similar positions. Fines have been handed out, which have to be paid for by the club. Further sanctions, as has already been widely explained to us, could be in the pipeline and those on here who are, or know who is responsible thinking it is either a bit of fun or part of being a hard guy should wake up and smell the coffee. It's neither big nor clever, and no doubt they will be some of the first to complain if they are prevented from seeing their club play. FOR GOODNESS SAKE BEHAVE.
 
A couple of our lads threw plastic bottles on the pitch when we scored. I know they were delighted with the goal and it wouldn’t hurt anyone but absolutely pointless.
All it does is give the ref the opportunity to highlight it in his report.
 
EFFING INBREDS. JEEZ glad i went knowhere near this fixture. cos there will always be dickheads. this lot think they are some football firm. CANT wait for MARCH 24. they will get it back BIG TIME.
