The Worthington comment was in jest but that was a pathetic half and the boos are justified.
 
Let’s keep sticking it down Odimayo’s flank, force the fouls, so we get him a second booking.
 
northampton doing well to be honest, theyve got someone man marking dougall at the moment, nothing running for us and we seem a bit jaded. need to up the tempo a bit.
 
It's harder to win when everyone expects you to win 4-0. I reckon! Northampton nowt to lose.
 
The crowd is flat, the players look as thought they've been on Christmas Sherry, they look nervous on the ball and completely out of ideas.

You could sense yet another miserable midweek performance after the first 10 minutes.
 
It was a poor performance, but booing isn't going to help. Hopefully the North can put more pressure on the referee in the second half to book their keeper for time wasting. He's been at it since the first minute.
 
The back 3 look like they're running through treacle.
Dougall and Carey aren't at the races.
Dale has tried to no effect
CJ has yet again lost the ability to control the ball.
Bees has tried but getting no support off Rhodes, who looks like he's other things on his mind.
Kaddy has been bullied all half.

They look a very tired team after Saturdays long trip back.

Slag the cobblers off all you want, they're no mugs

Still should be winning games like this if we’ve any promotion ambitions. A draw wouldn’t be awful. 7 points from Shrews, Pompey & Northampton, you’d take it before any of those were played

Totally agree Joe, however, none of the players have been at the races tonight.
Let's hope for an injection of intent 2nd half

Yep. The Cobblers have actually only won 2 less than us, and have played less games, so there was never any ‘we should be beating these’ for me.
 
I think you have to give huge credit to Northampton Town, they have come with a plan and are doing it brilliantly, we have no idea how to handle their aggressive, fast push and they have looked the more dangerous going forward. Our players have no time on the ball and we are being rushed into poor decisions and mistakes. The midfield has been poor because of it and Rhodes doesn't seem like he's on the pitch. The long balls forward are being won by their defenders and that sets them off on the break. He needs to change tactics second half and probably 3 early substitutions.

Unfortunately you have just described our weakness. When teams come and do this to us we have no idea.
 
If we could show some character by coming back and winning this it'd be brilliant, can't think of us doing that much this season.
