In fairness, at 1-1 in the 65' you don't really want to change anything and there was barely a couple minutes between their goal at 2-1 and the subs.Far too late with the subs.

If only.Cobblers I am going for a scabby 1-0 win
Which rather gives rise to the question: how strong, exactly, is the existing desire to actually achieve promotion?I fact I am pissed off, we should be beating teams like this if we have any ambition to get promoted!
Can't argue with that . Strong , aggressive more hungry on the night perhaps. They played some decent stuff... A half decent game to watch ...tho a draw would have been about right ...Credit to Northampton. They've simply wanted it more.
He was slow to get to it too.a professional footballer simply cannot miss a chance as easy as that at the end. Ball hanging in the air, no challenge, and most of the net to aim at.
Lol, on paper we played decent, but not great tonight, it was a freak result.I think it's safe to say we aren't going up this year but I hope to god critch has someone scouting players we can feasibly get next summer that fit this formation/ system he's so desperate to use
Their manager had obviously done his homework, the lad he had at lb didn’t give CJ a look in tonight and their work rate was impressive. To be fair, they have been excellent and fully deserve to be leading, I have been really impressed with them.
Yeh that’s fair. Husband has been decent but gets punished tonight. A draw tonight would have been the most we deserved. Northampton deffo sussed us outFrustrating watch that.
Husband has been immense all season and h he's been punished.
We should have drawn that really; but that's football.
Aye I reckon we'll struggle to stay up and all the first team squad and managerial types will be lined up and ceremonially shot to the sound of loud moronic cheers from Muppets like you. That’s me done for the season I gave up my two season tickets after the Birmingham game at home last season I’m it cost me 50 odd quid a game for me and my lad I’m done not even watching the highlights ** load donkeys Chris Hamilton couldn’t trap a bag of cement useless

It annoys me too even though its my own team. That's what we get by having the Blackpool admins over celebrate Saturday. It was always going to come. What was the ** point.
Apart from he wasn't due to start - the fella was injured in the warm up.Their manager had obviously done his homework, the lad he had at lb didn’t give CJ a look in tonight and their work rate was impressive.
Annoying ass result and performance, we weren't at our best and Northampton played well, but if a couple things go differently (Beesley's miss, their player that should have been sent off) then we easily win.
League 1 doesn't have much quality, but it's still all about fine margins and tonight they just didn't cut the right way for us.
My but you re a funny one youWe just aren't good enough to be consistent. The formation holds us back as well as the lack of quality in key areas.
It just isn't good enough and Critchley living on the odd good performance. It's fooling many but not the ones who understand football.
Nothing funny about tonight. My but you re a funny one you
I agree, we can't accept or be content with results like this, we should have at worst drawn tonight.Think this is totally missing the point. We can't go a season with fine lines and margins not cutting for us. It was not a good performance and any ambitions of hunting the top two and remaining in the top 6 means we should be putting these teams to the sword. How many times do we say fine margins etc...before we're 12 points adrift and mid table looms. We've been sub par so many times already this season.
