From Swansea forum...Yes a win but not very inspiring.

Have to disagree with that, we sat back and let them have the ball, they played all of their football in front of us, 70% possession and 1 attempt on goal.Great 3 points but the edge taken off it by how much they dominated possession.
I know they didn't penetrate - but nevertheless they gave us a bit of a footballing lesson.
If we could keep possession like that with our talented front line - we'd be in the play off zone for sure.
Stewart was good (but should have shot) but Marv for me - how many times did he throw himself in front of shots? A word for Grimmy too - that save at the end was incredible.Man of the match? Tough one, the back 4 were superb, great return from Hubby and a full 90 minutes, Sterling was absolutely brilliant as was James and Marv gave another of his composed performances the midfield 3 were excellent and Stewart standout again. Up front Bowler was superb again but should have scored at least one, Kirk was excellent but looked knackered with 20 to go and Madine had his best game in a tangerine shirt, won everything, held it up beautifully, great goal and defended well when needed to.
So for me it has to go to Gary with Dujon a close second along with Marv.
A quick shout out for Grimshaw. He may not have had many saves to make, apart from the one terrific tip over late in the second half, but he controlled his box absolutely brilliantly today, his positioning was top class and I don't think we have had as good a keeper as him since probably George Wood!! Old Maxie is going to struggle to get back in the team.
What a load of guff, footballing lesson ? Critchley gave Martin a coaching master class.Great 3 points but the edge taken off it by how much they dominated possession.

Sorry to be pedantic but it would be the best of several but it can only be the better of two.I thought we were head and shoulders the best team.
It's about opinions, if they'd nicked a goal then people would have been moaning like fuck, but as they didn't it's seen as a Critchley masterclass. As u say, a load of guff. A bit more pool possession wouldn't go amiss. What a load of guff, footballing lesson ? Critchley gave Martin a coaching master class.
They opened us up once and that was the first time they put a long cross into the box.
We should have beat them by four clear goals, they had all the ball in the world, but did the sum total of FA with it. Please don't tell me you'd be happy to watch that possession based, no threat football every week !
I get frustrated at home if in the second half we're shooting towards the North and give fans little to cheer about,Unlike some I really enjoyed the game. Critch knows exactly how Swansea like to play , so set us up to play against their style. Swansea do like to play nice , neat football , a poor man’s Man City , but like others have said they had no cutting edge upfront. We could easily have thumped them 4 -0.
I was surprised at how far back they were playing the ball and actually a few times almost presented us with a shot at goal.Have to disagree with that, we sat back and let them have the ball, they played all of their football in front of us, 70% possession and 1 attempt on goal.
I enjoy reading this thread after it's all died down, and that was the comment of the thread for me.An absolutely prancing ** of a ref. im surprised he didnt penalise marv at the goal, he had his arm around one player but there were two pulling on him, kind of goes to show just how physically strong he his.
Anyway back to the prancing ** of a ref, there was one point where he was running across the pitch like a dressage pony. made me chuckle. and the liner on the eastt touchline seemed not to know what offside was.
