BlackpoolFC Esports Tournament - FAO SLO

I'm really happy to see the club doing an Esports tournament. It's a great idea... but I was a bit disappointed to find that I didn't qualify due to my age and not being a student. As were several of my friends and work colleagues.

I've no doubt there need to be brackets for competitions like this but I play both Fifa and Rocket League and yet I couldn't come along and play.

So, are we going to have further competitions and if so are there going to be more options for everyone to play in them?

I can understand if this is a tester to see how much interest there is (because this is the first I've heard of BFC doing such an event). But going forward I really hope there's more of an all inclusive feel to such events

In the article it only mentions 13+, but on the poster it mentions schools.

A good initiative no doubt though, as getting school kids involved with the club in any way is good.

But should be open to all or have age categories.

I’ve had some cracking nights out at the Hacienda and Bowlers.

Always up for a bit of E sport 😉
Ahhh.... Bowlers. I go twice a year to a tributes one day festival.....
It's mad so I imagine back in the day it was off the scale
