It is a few years since I last visited the ground and having read an article recentley about the Emerates stadium, I wondered if BFC were using solar panels on the roofs of the stands to power the floodlights when needed.
Why are all new house builds and commercial buildings not instructed to use solar panels, the additional cost probably a few thousand pounds hardly making a dent in the ovcerall cost of the building.

Fine margins and a lot of people don't like the aesthetic.

I think we should just build a giant tidal barrage and once and for all sink Preston below the River Ribble. All the tidal electricity we will ever need and a nice inland marina created as well, in keeping with our ever rising image and reputation. What's not to like? ⛱🛳🚤⚓👍

Nooooooo ..imagine all the refugees walking down the A584..and M55....

The only side worth putting solar panels is the South , the other sides would hardly be worth it . I do think the gov could make it a law that all new houses should have panels facing the south where possible and if they have a garden at least 1 tree must be planted. You put them in parks and the idiot teens decide they want to destroy there futures.

Did anyone spot the “Blackpool Football club- not busy”?
Is Google Earth now run by a nob ender?
