Yes, probably a last distraction from the football season, but nevertheless a Lancashire opportunity to show their quality. Or not.

First innings for Lancashire and Warwickshire now completed - Lancs 78 - Warwicks 518.

Does "a thrashing" cover it? or is humiliating a better single word.

First innings lead to overcome but all to play for😉
 
Dane Vilas said in his interview after the Hampshire win, when asked about the BW trophy, that winning the Championship was the big one, his tone and body language was totally dismissive of this game.

Given the momentum they’ve got from winning the title and the opposite for ourselves it was always on the cards they’d win, not sure I expected 440 first innings lead but always expected us to get beat

None the less it’s been a good season, had lousy injury luck and Lost 5 to England at any given time and still finished 2nd, got to the 1/4’s of the T20 and finished 4th on our 50 over group 👍🏻

A couple of the young lads look really decent (Balderson, Bohannon & Blatherwic especially) and the future looks really bright
