Boilers

Worcester but bit more expensive
Baxi combi has good hot water flow rate
Part’s availability good on these 2 if you should have any problems and good technical back up .

Had an Ideal boiler for nine years been brilliant but it did come with at the time a ten years warranty.
But my plumber has now gone back to Baxi.

Check the length of the warranty, if it's any good it should be minimum 7 years, if it's less than that then the manufacturer must think it's pony.

Ideal apparently have had problems recently, a manufacturing fault that means they've had to replace parts on boilers sold last year, presumably that's sorted for what they're selling now.

Finally, how big is the price differential, is it worth spending a couple of hundred more for a 10-year warranty and the very best?

I have tye original Ideal boiler that came new when my house was built 25 years ago and I have it serviced annually. Apart from having a fan replaced the engineer says it is like new and that I shouldn't replace it until gas boilers are eventually phased out.,
