Boos after a 1-0 win

Lavery and Joseph…… what were they doing?

Beesley can’t trap a ball and although I still have time for Kouassi given his age and game time he looks unfit and possibly overweight.

That said it was clear that Joseph has a phobia of being near the goal and Lavery jumps over the ball or tries to run towards the nearest defender for company. Cambridge worked out we had zero goal threat and nearly earned a point.

Cambridge played the way they’ve been playing in their last few successful games. If you want to know why the performance was boring look at the way they set up. We were at them all first half and got a good goal with 11 between Carey and the goal. When you play teams that set up this way, it’s hard to play in the final third and it blows my mind that people don’t understand this. That being said, certain individuals did look tired and how CJ got 90 mins I’ll never know with his lack of challenging for the ball and battling. More movement up top needed as well. Rhodes with his experience, movement and finishing is sorely missed. Lyons, hubby, Morgan and Rhodes… hopefully sonny can keep improving until the end of the season and grab some more important goals.

As far as the booing goes.. a clean sheet and 3pts… maybe they need to understand football a bit more before going to games? Get off fifa and understand that there’s two teams on the pitch. As Brett Ormerod once said, if you’re a brickie doing a job, you don’t have someone there pulling your work down as you’re trying to build.
Without the lads we’ve lost to injury over the last couple of months, we are very much a league 1 side and the gaffer is doing his job as any football minded person could expect.

F***ng love this club and if we don’t quite make it this season, I’ll be looking forward to see what the pre season and next season brings. Football never ends and we’ll have worse times and great times to come. Relax and stop being negative towards our lads and they may have a bit more confidence.

Booing after a win and clean sheet is literally something a nob end fan would do. Behave.

No need for any booing regardless of a win lose or draw
To boo after a win is embarrassing. Those booing after a win maybe need to find something else to do on a match day.

I doubt anyone was booing the players. It’s all about Critchley. The situation is untenable, he has killed the atmosphere in the ground and the players confidence due to his extremely rigid and negative tactics. Until he goes nothing will improve

We need to scrap most of our forwards, keep JR/Joseph. The touch or lack of is terrible, in the last third of the pitch our play was abysmal.

You pays your money and you choose to do what you want whether that be cream your pants over a fist pump or boo over a dull game or applaud no matter what.

I don't think the boos were based on the game in isolation but a build up of frustration of what can only be described as a dull season. Im voting for a grey away kit for next season to patch the clubs currently personality.....

Well, I sat there totally uninspired for the full 90 plus minutes, I will be there again on Tuesday, however I decided to save £50-£60 by not going to Carlisle and instead treated myself to a 100 year of tangerine shirt, and before any wit says was it to replace my original, I'm ahead of you. 😏

It was a good goal by Carey, that apart it was an uncreative, ponderous, yawn fest, with the Pool players appearing to be unimaginative and totally lacking any urgency. A nice day out at the seaside comes to mind.

OK I accept that Cambridge set up to frustrate us and very nearly bagged a goal at the end, but with the wit and wisdom of NC's coaching experience it should not have been such a problem as it turned out to be.

Sorry, I did not Boo but left completely uninspired and after six and a half hours of travel, I was not impressed, and it shows how far we have sunk over the last few years.

Carey impressed, but the game didn’t seem much different than the the string of 1-0 defeats that we have suffered this season.
