Boring and awful - a bad mix

Pretty depressing at the mo watching us. We seem to set up so cautious, trying to keep it tight for as long as we can. It's so so boring, AND it isn't working. Crunch match next Saturday now. Lose that and we are definitely in a relegation battle. We desperately need some firepower in January, and early January at that, not the 31st!!

Poor performance today against a team there for the taking. Don't what he sees in Connolly, Lavery worked hard ploughing a lone furrow though.
We didn't deserve anything again. Posh next week becomes a six pointer, we're down to 17th.

We've lost to a very under strength Derby team, played badly and not tested their keeper (again). That's worrying!
We're now 17th, just 8 points off the bottom 3 and falling like a stone.
I'm not preaching as to what we need, that's Critch's job, but he needs a clearout and recruit several Championship players in January.

Looking at Peterborough’s front five today next week could be a tough one. Beat Millwall 2-1. Two goals in quick succession.

He was solid first half at centre half then struggled second half at full back but that doesn’t mean he’s not been good for the rest of the season.
West Brom at home and Swansea away last few weeks he was motm
First half at centre half he put Maxwell in trouble a few times……he certainly wasn’t solid

Husband has exceeded expectations this season . That being said today I didn’t feel he was at his best getting caught in possession in relatively comfortable positions . However I don’t think he was the worst player on the pitch for us .
I agree he deffo wasn’t anywhere near his best today. A rare poor game from him

I hate being negative about the team but today’s performance was the most disjointed I have seen in a long time.
I thought Husband had a mare and once again we defend too deep.
I counted about 6 occasions where Husband received the ball under no pressure whatsoever and rather than control the ball and look for options he immediately played the ball forward and it went to a Derby player.
He is a professional for goodness sake.
Massive get next week but let’s be positive.

I dont think firepower is the issue.
We could have Alan Shearer in his prime playing for us, if he doesn't get the ball passed to him in decent positions he won't score.

It’s one of the issues.
Nearly two years on and we haven’t addressed the creative midfielder shortage. Loaded up with defensive midfielders but they won’t help the goals for column.
