If ever their was an opportunity to console yourself by looking back to see how bad things can be this is it from the last match up.

Pool were in free fall midst a dreadful season rooted to the bottom of the table whilst Bournemouth sat top heading for the Premier League.

No surprises the result was a 4-0 victory for the hosts courtesy of a Pitman hat trick topped off with a goal from Calum Wilson

One member of the Pool line up that day is still with us albeit permanently this time around

Parish Alfred Dunne Hall Oliver Jacobs Orlando Perkins Barkhuizen MADINE Delfouneso.

Pool amassed 26 points finishing bottom some 20pts from safety.

Surely even now we are in far better shape?
