Bowler song 2 versions

Watching some videos of the crowd singing the Bowler song; Has anyone noticed the song dies down at the start of the second verse? Pretty sure no one knows how it's actually meant to go .

It's either "when iiiiiii saw Josh Bowler", or "when I saaaaaaw Josh Bowler". A lot of people seem to stay quiet and join in at the Josh Bowler bit.
