Bowler will leave this week.

There is no doubt in my mind ....we will be LOSING one hell of a player and wherever he goes will be gaining a great talent.
The transfer figures quoted are abysmal for a player of that quality. For me we can't compete on the wages front and no doubt he will at least triple his wages thanks to a good agent. Disappointing but that's football and money talks .
Doesn't mean he will go on to better things or that we will capitulate, it's a funny old game and one player doesn't make a team .
Good players to come back from injury and another quality signing through the door yesterday gives me optimism that we will hold are own in a very good league.

Deary me it's losing not loosing. 😂

Taking Josh's current contract into account, SS & the board know how much they want - together with add ons, and once that's reached it'll be a sad farewell to Josh.
When I see the huge amounts some players (who I've never heard of) are going for, Josh is worth far more than £4m & he's improving every week - but like I say, the sell on price is known & is likely to be reached this week.

Remember last Eason when we were on.y around 7 points off the playoffs and we were thinking it’s possible. Then critchley started messing about and the rest is history. If we had reached the playoffs and the incredible happened, it’s quite likely Josh would now be on a new contract and worth millions.

Well that’s not going to happen. The fee will be around £4.5m. The player wants to go and it still represents a huge profit. Is he worth more ??? Probably but this saga has dragged on for 8 months and it needs to end.
If there are potentially other clubs interested I wouldn't accept any bid just yet. In fact I'd get on the Fulham, B/mouth, Watford and tell them if they want him to move fast, with bids obvs.

Everyone knows where they stand with this. There’s not going to be someone coming along offering much more. He’s not interested in Watford that’s for sure. Bournemouth unlikely too as he’ll be back here playing us next season !!!!

It matters not if he wants to go or not as the club holds his contract and should only except what they think he's worth

I guess the other thing he will have to consider is whether he will be a regular starter, whichever club is more likely to offer that will be the winner.

Can’t see him playing on Wednesday, if he’s going it will be agreed before then, and even if not, BFC and the clubs involved will not want to risk him the night before deadline day. If he does play, I’d say there’s a decent chance he’s staying.

Be amazed if he went to another Championship club. In fact I'm coming round to thinking that he may possibly stay. He's enjoying his football here...getting regular games..and improving all the time. At the end of the season he goes on a free and makes a shed load in signing on fee and wages. The club have got to decide if the potential loss of 2, 3 or 4 million is worth it by keeping him. He could propel us up the league into an end of season play off spot..and who knows what else..that could bring in untold riches. On the other hand he could go..and most of that modest 2, 3, 4 million would have to be spent on a couple of decent additions. But where do you get the quality from when all clubs are fishing in the same pond? I really hope he stays 'cos I think we are are on the cusp of having a very good season with the loan players we've signed ( ..jury's still out on Williams though). I think it'll be telling whether he's in Wednesdays team. If not it's goodbye Josh.

The club will get a good profit out of Bowlers transfer which can then be reinvested in other young players
whose careers have stalled at some of the Premiership Clubs.

No but that’s imminent though. Bowler was due to leave in January but both parties agreed that until the deal was right he’d stay. Looks very much like the acceptable price has or will be agreed.

I read somewhere recently that forest have signed 19 players this summer, question is, at even £4 million, will he get a game?

Let me tell you straight little man. I certainly used to have a lot of inside info but I’m not claiming to currently have any. It’s for the best that you don’t make assumptions about people and let your keyboard run away with you. I bet it’s fun inside your house
Course you did, as for my keyboard I've never hid from who i am, several people on this site know me in the real world i even have my picture on my profile

So i ask you this who are you?

As said on another thread about Josh, why sell yourself short.... If your playing well have confidence in yourself and out of contract in 9 months, may as well get yourself a couple of million signing 9n fee on top of 10 to 15 k weekly wages....

That might be his plan and if it is, there’s nothing the club can do about it, E if they’re desperate to sell.

Will be the end for Bullshit Bean if this happens, we will make are feelings clear to SS and he listens to the fans.
