Bowler

Good to see him back in training - I'd say to Josh - prove yourself between now and the end of the year and you can go. I think he went so much off the boil towards the end of the season, he actually needs to prove himself again to himself and other clubs.

Im not sure anything is holding up our other transfer business now? Bishop set to sign, bids in for Lyons and Dele-Bashiru and possibly others like Regan Poole.

I think the unexpected loss of Quitch held things up.

Bowler can deliver but he needs to be more consistent & learn when to pass, also I think he's very one dimensional. Hope he up's his game.

If we're going to play a consistently forward thinking style, Bowler will relish that. He's a player who will love playing in a more fluid system with more attacking/creative players on the pitch.

I think he has improved over his time last year. He's started sometimes spreading the play (and he does it really well) and also his link work with others has improved. There was one last night between him and Gaz when they'd just come on which was excellent.

I'm firmly in favour of 'keep as long as you can't - yeah, he's defensively questionable and he literally can't head a football' but he's electric and electric players don't come about so often.

With a year on his contract, we'll end up paying a massive loan fee for some kid to replace him who might end up being shite anyway so the money is over-rated.
