any links? This could be a great fight - Eubank needs to lay down a marker and establish himself - beefy is already at a high level and can get better

It’s next fight so not far off now.

Just listening to glad all over because the Palace fan won.
 
Does Eubank get a shot at the title if he wins? I haven't followed his career too closely, hasn't he lost each time he's come up against someone decent?
 
Interesting fight, shows Eubank is not at a top level. There will be a rematch though as the money will be there.

They'll be a rematch because of Eubanks ego and the contract, nothing to do with money. There's no chance Smith would want this fight again if he had a choice.

Well we found out last night that Eubank is nowhere near as as good as his old fella was, the old man could take a punch and not stagger around like he'd just supped 14 pints of Peroni like his lad did last night.

It will be all about the money. Its another big payday for both not sure they'd make anything like as much elsewhere.

He didn't drop weight like Jr did he went up the weights classes. Maybe his punch resistance was badly affected.
 
Eubank jnr not a big enough puncher at super middleweight so had to come back down to mid to earn a coin just been convincingly beaten by a light mid.
At his age he's probably struggling to make weight made more than most out of the game despite never being a world champion(IBO doesn't count for me)and should hang his gloves up.
 
He was found out at the highest level by Groves and Saunders and again in this fight. Apart from maybe Abraham and DeGale he hasn't fought the level of opponent of Smith. The shock was not that Eubank lost but that he was stopped for the first time in his career.
