Breakfast on Play Off Final Day 2010?

Full fry up on the M6 Toll services! Not sure any of it went down but can just remember sat by the window and everyone who walked past was in tangerine!
 
Cooked 15 breakfasts for the guests, washed up, drove down to Preston Station, and was whisked to the game. Homemade bacon butty for me on the way

Was that pub a few side streets down from Victoria where the landlord was a Blackpool fan? I do remember going in such a pub before an away game against Crystal Palace where our goalie was sent off and DJ got us a 1-0 win.

The very same. Ran by "Fred" a devoted Pool fan and home of many BASIL occasions
 
I really can’t remember. But I do recall visiting the late lamented Bree Louise next to Euston (now sacrificed to HS2 sadly) for something porky in a bun later in the morning. And someone in a taxi shouting abuse at us. We filed him as a Preston fan.
 
I made bacon butties at home in Lincolnshire for two of my sons and my 78 year mum (who I had brought across from Thornton to come with us to the match). Gave my mum a special Wembley tangerine t-shirt and flag to wear. Drove across to Newark station to get the East Coast train down to Kings Cross. The platform had some Nottinghamshire based Seasiders and some of the Yorkshire and NE based Sessiders were on the train and in good voice. After a long, hot, briliant day we got back to Lincolnshire about 11.30pm and got a chinese takeaway to finish the day. Mum was still in good form and said 'I have never eaten this late before, it must have been a special day!'

The ‘Bree Louise’, will always be the Jolly Gardener in my eyes. . By law it was 6 cans from the off licence just down from it and then 3 or 4 quick pints before the train back home
 
A piece of toast at home 5.30Am.
Before picking up Tangerine Tina(Glads sister)in Birmingham on route to wembly,cup of tea and tea loaf.
Picnic lunch at end of M40 services.
Stayed with brother in law in Highgate through til Sunday.
Celebrated on Sunday with a clear head and a run on Hampstead heath wth BIL.
Rock and roll football 🤣🥳😔
What a fecking weekend 🧨
 
No idea what I ate but I do remember stopping at some services on the way down & bumping into someone I hadn't seen for years only to find I worked with his son & never put 2 & 2 together. Sea of tangerine.

I was down at a B&B in Oxfordshire with my wife and a friend. We met other friends at a pre-arranged pub. They went down from Blackpool on the day and they said that the M55 early doors was like Wacky Races with all the tangerine flying.
