Brisbane area seasiders

Hi, used to live in the Brisbane area 20 years ago.....and the Gold Coast and Adelaide and Townsville and the Sunshine Coast.....

Now live near Bundaberg. If ever you're around here happy to get together for a beer or if you need any advice on Brisbane suburbs etc let me know - happy to help.

Hi All
Just wondering if there are any pool fans in the Brisbane area?
I'm relocating there next year and am curious

There is a Seasider in the area who used to play a lot of Sunday football back in the day. Ex Highfield School/FY4

Message me before you go and I will put you in contact. I don’t think he posts on here but I will check after the game or tomorrow

My partner live in wavell heights Brisbane so that's where my first stay will be
It would be great to meet up with a fellow seasider when the border restrictions are eased
But I'm guessing that won't be until next year now

Do you mean you still live in the UK?

I'm confused as there's very few border restrictions in place in Australian states...

Yes I'm stuck in the UK
Just sold my home and waiting for the green light to enter Australia
But it's probably going to be a while yet unfortunately

I take it you've visited Australia before then? Living here is a very different experience to living in the UK and even different to having visited Australia. It takes quite a while to get used to. The only real things we've got in common is; we drive on the left (most of the time) and we speak English (sort of).
But if there's anything you want to know please PM me and I'll be happy to help. Wish you well on getting here - you won't regret it.

Brisbane awesome place....Stayed with relatives 2 or 3 years ago.....on the Springsteen Tour !
Yes I'll second that V4M. I went their for the egg chasing in 2003 when England won the world cup. The first game on the trip was the QF vs Wales in Brisbane. Up there as one of the friendliest cities I've ever been to. A bit like Blackpool before 9pm 😀. Great location as well for exploring up and down the east coast and unlike Sydney, no flies!
