Blackpool vastly more organised than us. Despite the goal we're still miles off the pace.

I thought Blackpool were well organised, pretty
much outplayed us first half. I really liked their no15 left back with fair hair, we just couldn't get anything going down that side - LT switched sides for a while.

I'd love Coulsen, Dembele and Rhodes in our first team.

It's as if we need to think about what to do when we have the ball. Blackpool looked like they all knew what they were doing. The players played with purpose.

Blackpool were better than us, we most of the time lost our battles, Blackpool were quick to get the second ball and looked hungrier

Second half was improved, Blackpool seemed happy to defend for 45 not offering anything really, but we couldn't break them down and get shots away.

Blackpool 6 better than us but they aren't good enough to go up.

Blackpool 7 well organised and upwardly mobile. You can see why they are where they are but we still had chances.....

The referee was last seen eating tangerines, in an orange jump suit on the Blackpool team bus.

So their forum does a player rating thread for each game, and they rate the opposition out of ten. We mostly got 6 with the odd 7. They generally felt we were the better team, more organised, a few players they'd like to have, but didn't think we were that great.

I know a lot of Pool fans feel we are a bit short of what we need to close the gap on the top 6. But it also seems like the players are starting to believe in themselves. Coulson looks like an astute signing. And Joseph and Lavery are gradually improving with better fitness.

Is the back three tight enough? Should Gabriel be starting instead of CJ?

I see further improvement as we progress. Top 6 is possible, for me.

For an away performance, yesterday will do. I will take 3 points on the road no matter how ugly the performance. It's good that they brought up Coulson as I thought he had another good game yesterday, he's probably our best defender at LWB. I still believe that of we can get another left footed defender as back up for Hubby and a another in MF then we have a chance at making the play offs. We just need a couple of sides above us to slip up and for us to keep pushing forward. Season isn't over yet.

A lot of positives from the top. The emergence of Joseph and Morgan have been a real bonus. Their manager was a bit curmudgeonly in his comments in comparison. As for the referee I thought for someone so card happy their players got away with attempted murder. I thought Bristol looked a handy team going forward but we had a little more money left in our meter - despite the FACup game - come the final whistle.

I think the only thing missing from their considerations is we went 120 mins with a Premier League team on Wednesday night.

Start Gabriel more often and sign a mobile left sided centreback and push Hamilton into the front 3, because we generally look like we are playing 3 4 3, top 6 definitely on.

They can say they didn't think we were that great all they want but we took 6 points off them this season. Can't do any better than that!

It was a Sistine Chapel compared to our recent away performances. Hope they’ve turned a corner away from Bloomfield Rd

So glad we did the double on 'em after their version of our gazette reporter (Bristol Live) tweeted about Blackpool being a shit hole after we beat them at Bloomfield Road. Such an incredibly unprofessional thing for a "journalist" to do. 2nd rate journo for the 2nd rate team in Bristol, so no surprises really.

Bloomfield Bear put the boot in after our most recent win on twitter, saying "thanks for the 6 points but at least you city is nice". That was met with more shouts of how disgusting Blackpool is from Bristol Rovers supporters. Seems they're a bit more amicable on their forum 😂

Their ground is a dump. People in glass houses…

The last quote from the Bristol fans is why fan sites are worth reading. Is it just me that thinks we don't get as many comedy gems on here anymore?
No not just you, it’s dull as dishwater in general and any attempt at irony is lost on 90% of the current crop of posters🤷‍♂️

Of course it's possible. As is 12th. That's the glory. Not knowing.
