One for all us rockers. Not sure when yet but sometime over the period Sky Arts are showing the 1994 gig he did in Sarajevo during the. Bosnia conflict.

Gets a chapter of its own in his excellent book.

My scheduling will only search forward a week. I think it's Tuesday 29th but keep checking to make sure.

Scream for me Sarajevo.
 
He used to live next door to one of my mates (still owns the property I think), and I have met him several times - nice guy.

When I say next door - there is land between them!!!!
 
I don't have many heroes in life, but Bruce has always been one of them. It would be a genuine worry if I ever did meet him what I'd find to say that didn't make me look like a dribbling moron. And we share several interests - music, history, beer

He is genuinely a nice guy and have had a few beers (on a couple of occasions) with him - but in fairness I have had no contact with him for about three years.

No idea to be fair, he is a mate of a mate - who I made sure he introduced me for obvious reasons!!!!!!

I still have his number (well his number from a few years ago) in my phone - but would never ring it, as I doubt he would remember who I am.

He flew on a contract basis for a few airlines from memory - I seen to remember though that the airline you mention was the main one.

I think he generally used to pilot the plane when the band toured as well.

That’s right, we’ve had an apartment in Bodrum for 15 years so used Astraeus regularly upto 2011 when they went into administration, consequently ending in him losing his job! Don’t think it left him skint mind!😉
