Bryson DeChambeau taking the p155

The guy works harder than anyone else and he always brings entertainment. A lot don't like it but I find it quite refreshing.

He looks great on the manicured American courses.

Ask him for a bit of a finesse and imagination on a links course and I'm not sure you'll get it.

He has, at this moment, a unique style. Others will copy him if they are "treading water" with their current swing. Could it be as simple as bulking up? (No)

Tiger Woods has had several back surgeries because of the strains of the golf swing.
When he first came on the tour he was praised for how far he could hit the ball but within years his body gave up.

Dechambeau cannot keep swinging the driver at nearly 200 mph if he wants to keep his health.

Besides with all that power and distance he only beat a 47 year old by 1 shot over 4 days.

And if that 47 year old had held his nerve on 16 when BD had driven in to the lip of a bunker and had no shot at the green, he would have forced a play off at the very least.

Yeh true, but in all honesty Westwood couldn't buy a putt for most of the round, however he played a great shot on the last after driving into a divot!!
I just cannot see Dechambeau continuing to be able to play like that.

100% agree with Westwood's putting woes, over his career he has missed more tiddlers than any pro on the circuit. Watching last night and willing him to win, I just knew he'd choke a putt that would cost him on those final few holes.

I watched much of it and all the leaders on the final day.

I actually thought Westwood hung in there much longer and better than I expected but it was very unfortunate that he missed that fairly short putt on the 16th.In the end that missed putt was the difference between a play off and his eventual second place. he did a lot better than the sainted Rory though(7 shots and 16 years difference I think)who as all too often fizzled out when it mattered most.

So at 47 nearly 48 well done Lee.

Don’t forget, he won what was the European order of merit last year . (Now the race to Dubai ).
with quite a few top Americans competing .
