Burton were awful last season but in fairness these look decent signings for them. Would I want either at Blackpool? That would be a no. We have to be looking at better.

I thought Stockton would have been a fair shout to replace the goal machine, although he does actually score goals, 
especially as he'd been playing locally to us at Morecambe. Fairly proven goal scorer at this level but perhaps doesn't fit the profile of a player we'd sign.

If Wren Rovers signed a player from a local pub team you can guarantee that someone would come on here and say how we missed a trick, and should have got in there first.
And I’m sure that whatever player goes to whatever club from now until the end of the transfer window then there will be moaning and groaning about BFC not putting in a bid, and it will be totally irrelevant if those players weren’t even interested in Blackpool

At the moment, Burton don't have a keeper or LB, the main RB is 35, their midfielders are all 21 except for the 2 x 24 year-olds one of whom struggled to get a game on loan in L2 last season, and their two wingers are 19 and 34.
They have a lot of work to do.

I'm quite happy to bow to your greater knowledge, I was merely going off his scoring record at League 1 level, albeit in a team that was at the lower end of the table. It will be interesting to see how he works out at Burton, I hope he has an absolute shocker on the first game of the season.
