The right back is available for transfer at Portsmouth. 24 years old and 6' 2" . Remember him at Accy before a big money move to Pompey

Chuck in one of those airfryers to lure him in, hey presto he’s oursNortherner is a bonus and makes it more likely.
Yes this surprised me as I always remember him as an attacking right back when he played for Accy!According to this piece in Pompey's local paper, he did well last season but seems more of a Turton than a Gabriel.....
"The former Middlesbrough trainee was among Pompey’s most consistent performers amid 46 outings in the 2020-21 campaign.
That was recognised as he finished third in the The News/Sports Mail player of the season vote, behind Ryan Williams and Craig MacGillivray.
Johnson perhaps lacks the forward-thinking attributes to be a natural fit in Cowley’s game idea, however."
Portsmouth open to offers for defender despite impressive maiden campaign
Pompey are prepared to listen to offers for Callum Johnson before the close of the transfer window.www.portsmouth.co.uk
It would look even smaller in the hands of some 6'2" would be giant!!Chuck in one of those airfryers to lure him in, hey presto he’s ours
I can understand Portsmouth needing to sell in order to raise funds, but why are they selling a promising player they only signed relatively recently?
They have also signed Freeman this season and he is currently playing in that position!I think they've got a promising RB coming out of their youth team, so maybe surplus to requirements.
