I see he scored a 96th minute winner last night for Plymouth . Why did we sell him , I know he looked a bit lightweight but the better option would have been to loan him out ?

We sold him because we bought him on the basis he wears a hairband; ergo he is Josh Bowler. The ‘recruitment team’ then realised this is actually no basis on which to buy a Championship ready player so swiftly sold him on with an agreed statement along the lines of ‘I’d always wanted to play here anyway as my grandad loves playing bowls and this place is mad for all that bowling thing…’ and thus releasing us to ‘negotiate’ with more of Ben’s contacts and illustrious industry knowledge.

Oh no it's the Ryan Hardie situation all over again.

When some work don't out at clubs but do elsewhere move on.

Plymouth Argyle attacking midfielder Callum Wright has been named as the player that seems most likely to depart Home Park this month, due to his lack of game-time so far this season and a likely desire to play regularly at 24-years-old rather than sit on the Greens' bench.

Wright has been at Argyle for two years now, after a January 2023 move from Blackpool, and has been a largely bit-part player under numerous managers over the last few seasons.

The 24-year-old played his part in the Pilgrims' promotion to the Championship in 2022/23 as League One champions, with four goals and four assists in 20 league games, but his minutes have been reduced in the second-tier, particularly so far this term, despite their relatively thin squad depth.
