Camino de Santiago

After doing the West Highland way last August currently planning on doing this next year and just wondered if anyone on here has done it and any advice they would give

We did the Camino Ingles this September from Ferrol to Santiago, 74 miles over 6 days. We used a company (Santiago Ways) who booked hotels and bag transfer.
It was a brilliant experience and highly recommended. A bit tough in places but nothing ball breaking. The arrival in Santiago is genuinely emotional
I'd recommend researching the various routes on the Web. There is also a very useful forum for discussion on the different caminos, I'll post a link later.
Feel free to ask anything

it was on tv a while back with various tv / celebs. think one was the shot putter and adrian chiles. oh and edwina currie. relegion and the rest was paRT of the programme . converts and non believers.

I thought you had to get the stamps to be able to stay in the Aubergues
No. You collect stamps during the last 100k to qualify for a certificate at the end. Well worth doing, it's in Latin. There us no requirement to stay in Aubergues other than availability of a bed.
