Now that I have retired I have finally taken the plunge and decided to knock this off my bucket list. Just booked my flight to Bordeaux on April 17th to give it a go. Just wondered if anyone on here has done it and have any tips and do's and don'ts

Did the Ingles last September. It was amazing and we are doing the Portuguese Coastal this year.
We booked hotels and did baggage transfer as it was our first time. Met some wonderful people from all over the world
Do plan ahead and go with an open mind
Don't over pack
Tremendous experience, good luck.

Not booking any Alburgues except first night in St Jean Pied de Port should be OK for accomodation in April/May and carrying my Rucksack for 5 weeks. (hopefully)

When you going mate ?. We are doing the Coastal in September from Porto. Will have a Pool shirt on for the arrival in Santiago as I did when we completed the Ingles last year.
