Title/subject says it all.
He’s bloody crap. The other players around him must get him through games.
I’m guessing he gets some goals cause he just shoots at every opportunity, some must come off.

Think it’s you that needs to move on.

Having a good chat with Oxford fans in the pub after the game and they admitted he's not been that great. Couldn't believe it when they said he was on 15k per week. No wonder we walked away from that transfer.

I take it we're definitely not signing him in the future, given some of the pelters he got...

Can you imagine if we did that and went up and signed that player in the summer...

I thought he had a presence and was actually frustrated by their system as much as our players were frustrated as ours.
I think he'd have been a very good addition (manager dependent!).

He was coming very deep to get the ball and constantly tried to speed things up with little success. Yes, he looked frustrated.

Critchley would have subbed him for trying that shooting from distance nonsense! We could catch a much bigger fish 🎣 than him if we dangled a 14k a week contract out there.

I heard today this season, Brannagan has attempted 63 shots from outside the box and converted once… 🙈

He wasn't great yesterday though was he? Be honest.
I honestly felt he was ‘trying too hard’ which given the circumstances you can see why. But yes ultimately not his best game - I’m interested to see how he might get a slightly more attacking role now we have Jay Matete… 🤞🏼

I liked your left back. Thought he was great till we brought CJ on and he was obviously tiring a bit by then too but very impressive.

To be honest I thought we had tarnished our Oxford relationship with the CB situation.
Clubs try do deals all the time, that one didn't come off and fans go at each other but people at the clubs will know, it's just that deal. They got Thorniley didn't they after that so... all good.

How can anyone judge a player on one performance? You can only rate a player over an extended period. Over a season he is one of the best midfielders in League One and could easily play up a level IMHO!

The thing about any player is whether you miss them when they're not in the team and, from memory, I can't recall missing Norburn when he was out injured.
