Carlisle v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 24.07.21

I wonder why this isn't streaming? Even maybe a small cost of 2 quid could bring in a bit that otherwise wouldn’t hav been brought in.

Lack of ifollow replacement yet?

Youth team’s Tayt Trusty in the midfield. Thoughts @Insider?

Presumably midfield is where the Covid hit hardest. Wonder what the second half team looks like?

No doubt those 17 will be the squad for the Morecambe match next Sat. Clampets match will be more like our first team squad.
Nah not the case. Some are injured. Virtue 7s one if them, and Madine, Gretarsson and Stewart are all injured.

News and star ( the Cumbria news) are doing a good live feed written updates.. thoughtout the game..

Blackpool FC

HT: Carlisle 0-1 Blackpool Pretty comfortable from Blackpool, without ever looking scintillating in attack. Not given the hosts a sniff though. Demi Mitchell continuing his fine form in pre-season with his third goal in as many games.

Seems like an awful lot of absentees in that squad. Could it just be Critchley wants to give some players a lot of minutes today , and the same midweek for another group ?

0-1, sounds like a good workout but it's the old story - lots of forward play with no end product. Still, it's only practising.
It doesn't seem we are setting the world alight with chances and goals, however all about fitness... I've always thought results whilst they aren't of the most importance, it doesn't do any harm and for strikers, when your scoring your confident.

So I would have liked to see Jerry score some.
