Why do Football World pay him to comment on things which he knows absolutely jack shit about! I'd sooner they pay Brian from the newsagents to comment!!

"Blackpool and Derby sit on the same points in League One in seventh and eighth place," Palmer said.

"Would Blackpool sell CJ Hamilton to a promotion rival? The answer is they might not have any choice if CJ does not sign a new contract

"It is not clear whether he has been offered a new contract or not.
"Blackpool are looking at the same situation as Huddersfield and QPR in that, if they do get promoted, can he play at the higher level?
"If he doesn't sign a new contract, then he'll leave for nothing in the summer, and they would have to let him to go Derby.
"I think Derby would be his preferred club given the predicament QPR and Huddersfield are in at present, scrapping at the bottom to stay in the Championship.

"Derby will be mounting a challenge for promotion, I think that would be his preferred option and if he doesn't sign a new contract, Blackpool will have no choice."

haha exactly, you, me and everyone on this site (well, maybe not everyone) could have said what Palmer has just said !

It's just his opinion and it's not entirely unreasonable? But also of not much value. Just like the majority of football banter. Personally I'm not sure he'll be in a mad rush to get away from Critch who clearly values him, unless he's offered additional money too good to turn down. Which could happen of course.

Did CP post that on here? No? Perhaps then he's talking to people who know jack poop about CJ and his situation and probably even less about BFC.

If CP has said the obvious , what's the problem . If he had said there is a good chance Manchester City were looking to buy him then I would agree ,he was talking bollocks .

Think about it, if we did lose CJ who the feck in our team do we have to replace him who can run at the opposition like he does with such pace. All clubs are looking for someone with CJ's pace at a cheap price to then improve them.

Keep CJ and work on improving his crossing/final ball.

Be careful what you wish for (those who want CJ gone).

Think he actually sums up the situation pretty well (if the reports of the interest are accurate). CJ has always had pace to burn, a massive asset at this level. Been playing well and I’d like to see him stay but if there is interest and he moves on good luck to him.

Critchley has been working with him for 2 1/2 seasons, if he hasn’t improved his crossing/ final ball by now he never will.
