Case for the defence

No goals conceded and only looked troubled when in possession
Our only problem is when playing the ball out especially through Marvin
The more time he has the more he hesitates on the ball and the more likely he is to give it away
A common observation made by many on here so must be obvious to the manager
All teams struggle playing out from the back if done at a slow pace
We need to play out quicker practice passing patterns so we know what to do instinctively
Help Marvin, the ball will come through him a lot make sure he has an easy pass available
Early days but if we sought this out the whole team performance improves

Yes... as he stands with the ball (Marv), everyone gets marked & no one is moving for him..

I agree he needs to move it out quicker

I am always nervous when he has the ball, & pretends to be a footballer....

Marv is really good at defending…blocking…pace to get back and retrieve situations but he is so bad when playing out from the back….a collective Oh Shit goes up around me when he starts thinking about what to do with the ball.
He really misses Keogh.
