What is the criteria to get in to the PL Hall of Fame?!!

Former England defender Ashley Cole has become the latest player inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.

Cole, 43, won the league title three times - twice with Arsenal and once with Chelsea - during an illustrious career in England's top flight.
He was part of the 2003-04 Arsenal 'Invincibles' team and made 385 Premier League appearances in total.

"It's humbling and fulfilling to be rewarded at the end of your career," said Champions League winner Cole.

He was one of two genuinely world class players we had at the time, Rooney being the other (on his day). He also played 107 times for England under several different managers.
He'd get into this England team no problems. Not getting the implied hatred of the O/P, many of us will have moved jobs for more money and new challenges. What did he do wrong?

Not a lot really. Got the name “Cashley Cole” because he joined Chelsea at a time they were flashing the cash buying titles so the move come across very money motivated and didn’t go down well with Arsenal fans.
Also attracted negative media attention for being a womaniser.
Class player mind. Rarely put a foot wrong playing for England.
