Yep doesn't matter how liked someone is, if they go to a rival then you still want the rival to fail.

It won't damage him anyway as they are expected to be struggling.

It'll be good for him to get some managerial experience. More experienced people than him have already 'failed' there.
 
I wish him all the best, not sure it’s the best move though.

Hopefully he can do well for a few months and get a move elsewhere before they disappear down the leagues.
 
Charlie was great for us for a couple of years which I appreciate. Then he moved for a considerable pay rise which anyone with a hole in their arse would have done too. He could have had a 2nd spell with us towards the end of his playing career but for whatever reason it didn’t happen. I wish him well in his new challenge & will watch to see how things go.
 
Charlie could go and manage Preston and he wouldn't go down a centimetre in my opinion of him. He was the fuel that lit the fire of the great Holloway team. He could have gone to plenty of other clubs but he decided to come to us and I will always love him for what he did for us. UTMP!

Preston bit is a bit far fetched but yes he was part of the best thing that ever happened in my Blackpool supporting career.
 
Good luck to the lad. Might be a reach as a first manager's job with little experience, but everyone has to take their first step.

Fleetwood is a bit of a revolving door, mind

I think you might be right re BB I seem to recall that.

He’s definately qualified to manage the Cods if that’s the case .

More pressure though as FTFC must have at least 10 more fans .

They failed as they are in the relegation zone and they got sacked, he can't do any worse than where they already are.

If all goes well he could be a shoe in for when Klopp leaves. Some Liverpool fans will be as whingey as ours.

Apologies. I thought you were talking more generally than Lee Johnson. He's a terrible manager and was a poor appointment.
