Charlie Adam

I was sat in the Nobber end when Charlie notched .The exclamations of shock and the disbelief when we scored was an exquisite moment and one I savored for hours. 😂🧡🍊

I remember the Wes penalty one, but can only assume we must have been away on holiday for this game. 🙄

The fact we were in the doldrums for sooo long made those goals so memorable and intense, they just mean so much more than ordinary goals to me .

My memories are of a desperately back pedalling defence, Sir Charles gliding through midfield and then placing the ball past Lonnie Donegan from 20+ yards off of the post, the shot went in slow motion.

What made it even sweeter was they were still under the delusion that they could have signed him, they also thought they had the much better team but half of our starters were in the play off final team a year later.

With it being so long it really is a chance for a player to stamp themselves into Blackpool folklore by scoring the winner

Just look at how much we talk about Hoolahan's penalty, get that image up on the dressing room wall and tell 'em today's their chance to become legends

Saw he's in the lounge for the sponsors game and there was a quote from him which said he's never been back to Bloomfield Road since he left - can't be right can it?

Think he said he's not been back much since he left rather than not at all.
