My family via our business have sponsored Charlie Patino for the 22/23 season. We’re all excited to see how he helps the team this season and my kids and grandchildren are super excited to meet him later in the process.

Yesterday, we received a personal email from Charlie, thanking us for sponsoring him. A very polite few lines from him. I have kept it safe in case he is the next best thing for posterity.

Got me thinking?

Are these good manners taught by:

Arsenal?
Blackpool?
Or his parents?

Someone has done a great job with him and his upbringing. Thanks Charlie 🍊🍊🍊
 
I have one random inside football contact: I know the General Counsel at Arsenal.

When I messaged her after the Patino announcement, she messaged back: “He is a lovely boy. From a very nice family. We all think very highly of him here”.

Sounds like he’s just a good lad with manners. Great example to some of our other youth players hopefully.
 
I saw a few videos the Arsenal obsessives made about him from our game on Saturday and he looks absolutely miles ahead of anyone we've had since probably KDH.

He's got to start.

Yep, build that team around him to be honest, it's not like we're on fire anywhere else anyway.
