Cheap train tickets on sale now

Gone on line and despite the fact the government announcements suggests you can buy Manchester to Newcastle as part of the deal when you go to the National Rail ( the great British sale section) it isn’t there……oh and the ticket prices are single fares for all the offers and some can only be done on a Saturday.
Hope some of you can find a trip worth taking but I wouldn’t get too excited…..might as well use our senior rail card to be honest😀

…but you can do an offer from Manchester Airport for £11.80 but not from Piccadilly which is on the same route😳304D0FBC-75B0-4CED-B141-F7C8DEC0AE0E.jpg

Got Blackpool to London three nights £79.80 return for two people ,and Blackpool to Birmingham two nights £48.90 return for two people using rail card ,booked via trainline

The bargains are not really there. Certainly not for popular routes, going south.
But Manchester/Preston to Glasgow for a long weekend in May for £20 rtn.

I dread to think what the train from York to Blackpool is going to be like on the 30th. £1.50 tickets were sold out almost immediately. Anyway I've got a decent fair there and back to Bradford. £8.30.
