Cheating going on ????

Far too convenient for them with their new signings wanting all these games off. If it was that dangerous why would WE want to play and they are pushing for it to be called off - we have injury concerns as well, if it was really that bad we'd also want it off but we didn't.

They have a new signing who hasn't fit the deadline to be registered for tonight, its a piss take.

Yep that’s how I see it. This deadline signing thing is being tweeted about all over the place.

It was the ref that called it off at the end of the day. The real issue is why it wasn't done earlier
The real issue is why is it not playable when we've know what the temperature is going to be, plus plenty of other games on, including Accrington and their cabbage patch

My thoughts as well.
But for the rearranged fixture, we could have a few players returning ourselves.

CJ, goal machine, a match fit Dougall (looked a bit sluggish since his return from covid), match fit Ward and Stewart. Plus 2 additional cb's to choose from and Simms with more game time. So I'm hoping this tantrum of JFH comes back to bite him on the arse.

I'm really hoping it comes back to bite them, it'll be the sweetest of sweet revenge.

Except it was Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink getting very agitated on the pitch and forcing the referee's hand in making the decision. A fair few of us were watching it on i follow and it was obvious what was being said and what was going on.

There won't be anything in the rules, but it seems unfair that you can call off a game then have a completely different team in place for the rearranged fixture. If you're ineligible for when it should have been played, that should stand. I've a feeling that is the case in cup games.

At the end of the day the game was passed fit to play by the ref, they went out to warm up for kick off. Burton then alert the ref to a frozen bit of turf complain about players slipping and say it’s unsafe to play. The ref is put on the spot and goes with caution and calls it off. However you dress it up Burton wanted and got the game called off, if you look at other games that went ahead our pitch looked tropical.

That won't wash with the people who want to slag off the club at any given opportunity.

Sometimes things happen and there always doesn't need someone to lynch, whether that be the groundsman, Burton or the ref.

Ref calls the game playable, it must have been borderline to have a 6pm inspection. Burton players warm up and are unhappy underfoot. They ask the ref to have another look. He does and after reconsidering decides players safety is more important that 3 points between a bottom half league 1 team and one that looks like they'll be relegated.

Burton just beat Hull so surely not to low on confidence. We looked like a bag of shite in 3 out of our last halves. Why would they be running scared.

The game will be replayed and we will hopefully have madine and others back so from a burton point of view, surely we were ripe for the taking on Tuesday?

It really is hateful on here.
