Cheers from tier 2

Here in Lincolnshire we have gone from Tier One before lockdown straight into Tier 3 because a couple of our districts have spiked in recent weeks. Doubt we will get relaxed until the New Year at the very least. Feel like a leper colony.

Do you get a badge for being for being in the Tier 3 band of ST holders? If someone made some up I am sure they would sell as collectors items

I'm in Manchester. We haven't seen the light of day in months. I might go and join a vaccine queue in the morning.

I'm really disappointed that nobody has explored the social implications of sitting in a Holborn boozer drinking that shit.

if that's not a cry for help, I don't know what is.

There`s one big consolation being here. At least I don`t have to share my drink with someone who posts an OP like this one so I`m much happier where I am thanks.

A number of good pubs in Holborn but that isn't one of them 😂
There is, Ive been staying here midweeks since June so know most of them well..

the old red lion
the ship tavern
The enterprise
the dolphin
the princess louise
the george
the hercules pillars

All better than the two spoons, but we were hungry and they still do half price food which compensates for the overpriced stella 😉

So how does it work? Do you order a plate of food (that you might not actually want) so you can get drinks? Do starters count?

I'm envisaging all these plates of food piling up and food fights ensuing once the alcohol kicks in 😅
