yes we are going and staying at my lads a Seasider who lives in Cheltenham, i think he’s taking me around some of his drinking haunts on the Tuesday prior to the game.
 
Me, wife and dog have taken a cottage in Bourton-on-the-Water for the week. My step-son, his partner and baby son are joining us for four nights. Step-son went to university in Cheltenham and he wants to show off his old haunts to his partner. My aim is to get some good pubs in before the match but there isn't a train station in Bourton and no late buses back that I've found. I'm still working on it.
 
Has anyone been to Cheltenham away before? What are the recommended away pubs to join fellow Seasiders? Just done a quick search and I see there is a brewery taproom (DEYA), Sandford Park Alehouse and a couple of Spoons so it looks like there are plenty of options. 👍

Went during the perfect 10. Pub across the road from the ground if I remember correctly. It sold beer !

You can get a steam train into Cheltenham from Broadway though.

DEYA right across the road from the train station. Good beer, but a fair plod to the ground.

They do have e-scooters here though :)

Sandford Park Alehouse just up the road from Bentleys we were talking about earlier and round the corner from Moon Under the Water 'spoons

Just a thought (don’t bite my hand off), if you’re down for the week, Forest Green are playing at home on February 10th (Saturday) so you could visit there as a neutral and tick that one off your bucket list of away grounds.

one of my daughters lives in Cheltenham meeting her there too in town showing us around too be good to meet up 🍊👍

Last time I was at the Sandford (2018?) It had a bar billiards table. Suited me.
 
Went with about 10 others a few years ago now for WPCs stag do……. quite a lively town centre from what I remember but it was a trek to the ground
