Keeper wasn't too shabby either.Outside of Bonnucci, Cheillini and Chiesa I wasn't that impressed with the rest of them.

I didn't think it was as bad at the Matt Taylor eye gouge from behind on Dan Ballard in the Oxford play off home game. That WAS a red as it was with cynical intent to harm in a situation where he wasn't just trying to stop a phase of play.Agree. Yet not a lot was made of it on the night and a yellow wasn’t contested.
Would have broke my back if I were Saka hitting the ground like that
I thought he was the caretaker or something in the line up.I said to the missus last night that he looks older than me ……
She said “no he doesn’t” - great
Yes! A homicidal maniac with more inner demons than you could shake a stick at.He reminds me of Tuco in the Spaghetti Westerns....
His defensive partner, Bonucci, for me is equally as good and has been for years, even if his character doesn't generate the same headlines. As a pair, they have been exceptional.
I half expect Chiellini to retire but maybe he'll carry on as the world Cup is only next year and he missed out last time.
And he's not even ItalianI thought once they got into the game Verrati and Jorghino were very good as they have been all tournament (or since Verrati came back).
Their movement, pass rate, pass quality and availability changed the game for me. Jorghinho is being talked about as a Ballon D'or contender unsurprisingly
