Get him now. What a job he has done for AFC Fylde.
My first ever thread I think and what a cracker.

Is this an early April Fools joke ?
Turned it around hasn’t he since Christmas when they looked dead and buried.Get him now. What a job he has done for AFC Fylde.

We’ve got a few of them now why do you think we’re struggling in the third division?Yes he can bring in more lower league players who will never be good enough.
Struggling? We’ve got a few of them now why do you think we’re struggling in the third division?
I think even you will admit we should be doing a lot better than we are right now.Struggling?
Struggling is where Fleetwood are, not where we are.I think even you will admit we should be doing a lot better than we are right now.
And yes we’re struggling to get out of this league by some distance when you look at teams like Stevenage Lincoln and Oxford above us FFS.
It’s been a shocking season but I called it right last August when so many thought we would piss promotion.
This is the first time I think you could be right.Get him now. What a job he has done for AFC Fylde.

He did a fantastic job at Carlisle. Not sure of he's ready for us but he's done a tremendous job with them
And as for we should be doing better?Struggling is where Fleetwood are, not where we are.
No, we are treading water. Going nowhere!Struggling is where Fleetwood are, not where we are.
That is why i call you cluelessGet him now. What a job he has done for AFC Fylde.

Do the fist pump, do the Critchley. That is why i call you clueless
may i ask you what is the Critchley?. get used to it clueless he isn't going anywhereDo the fist pump, do the Critchley.
That's fine. Will just have to accept much lower crowds next season. You carrying on supporting failure.may i ask you what is the Critchley?. get used to it clueless he isn't going anywhere
Errrr what???I don’t think he’s the right man to take us into a higher division but every credit to the fella. Done a good job. There’s only one man I want. Mr Neil Warnock.
But he has experience of managing teams and has done well.He is the Technical Director of a pub team. Have we no f*cking ambition?
I am not supporting failure, i personally see it as a longer term project rather than the instant success which i think a lot of people were expecting. As they say Rome wasn't built in a day. That's fine. Will just have to accept much lower crowds next season. You carrying on supporting failure.
That is why I used the word more. We’ve got a few of them now why do you think we’re struggling in the third division?
To be fair, Wiz, some managers don't need anyone to hold their hand, Carrick for example... who thought he'd have such an impact at Boro? Evo has taken to management like a duck to water. Some people just make good managers and others don't, despite their qualifications.Critchley, with a few seasons in the top 3 divisions, is deemed to need an experienced second in command, yet you seriously think Chris Beech is the man to replace him?
Unbelievable.
Quite a pertinant point you conclude with there, A_T_G. Should we not be looking at farming Critch out on a sabbatical to AFC Fylde, with him possibly being coached, personally, by Chris on the finer points of how best to employ the 3-5-2 formation? My only issue is that he also plays 3-5-2 albeit successfully.
Why the consternation, Wiz? I rather get the impression the poster has touched a nerve for having the audacity to suggest Chris Beech should possibly be lined up as replacement your all-time hero, Neil Critchley, an individual who, despite having quite an extensive record 'in the top 3 divisions' of English football, has actually achieved very little in the game - if you overlook the promotion he 'helped' secure for BFC all those years ago.Critchley, with a few seasons in the top 3 divisions, is deemed to need an experienced second in command, yet you seriously think Chris Beech is the man to replace him?
Unbelievable.
What is unbelievable is thinking Critchley is the right man to take us forward. It literally does make matter how much experience you have if you consider Connolly a viable option at left wing back.Critchley, with a few seasons in the top 3 divisions, is deemed to need an experienced second in command, yet you seriously think Chris Beech is the man to replace him?
Unbelievable.
He doesn’t play 3-5-2. He plays 433 or 4231.My only issue is that he also plays 3-5-2 albeit successfully.
Because we bemoan the lack of experience of Critchley then suggest people with no League experience at all, just because they played for us.Why the consternation, Wiz? It really comes as no surprise that an individual who has achieved so much with a team a little further down the 'football pyramid' has been mentioned as a possible future candidate for the managerial hotseat, should it ever become available, at BFC.
What, pray tell, is so 'unbelievable' about that?
There's an unhealthy obession with ex-players becoming our Manager.Because we bemoan the lack of experience of Critchley then suggest people with no League experience at all, just because they played for us.
No one is suggesting we go get the new manager of Guiseley, but if he'd played for us, he'd be a viable candidate for some
I think a lot of people on here haven't got a clue, and those comments above in bold just enhance my comment, God help us.Quite a pertinant point you conclude with there, A_T_G. Should we not be looking at farming Critch out on a sabbatical to AFC Fylde, with him possibly being coached, personally, by Chris on the finer points of how best to employ the 3-5-2 formation?
As Critchley clearly hasn't a clue, I strongly suspect he might have to be virtually indoctrinated in the actual practical workings of the system, which, with any luck, might just require him to spend upwards of 6 months receiving tutelage from one of BFC's more illustrious 'old boys'. At least, by the time he returns, Critchley will have some inkling of how the system operates.
Going through the motions and Sadler & Critchley being happy to remain competitive in league 1 is where we are and likely to remain.Struggling is where Fleetwood are, not where we are.
