I was one to criticise his performances and his first touch, fair play he had been brilliant last few matches setting up and scoring himself, he’s getting stuck in more and his efforts are paying off

Some haven't given CJ a fair run tbh. He's been in and out for the best part of a year due to his foot injury. He was lively at the best team in the division last week and I personally thought that he was back to his best today. Long may he keep the performances up, he is an asset that's for sure !

Always thought he could be a game changer at Championship level. There’s no substitute for sheer pace. He plays better with confidence as well. Just needed to get over his initial injury and subsequent painful screw issue. Really glad the club and NC stuck with him. Now we are seeing the real CJ that we all got so excited about last year.

He has played with his brain since Hartlepool. Play it back to the left back sometimes, don’t always assume you can beat your opposite number, make a run into space, pick your moments etc. Suddenly looking like a Chanpionship player. Well done CJ.

He is playing on the correct side and getting balls in. Always knew he would smash doing it that way. People were wrong about the Hartlepool game with him. If any of those balls he got into the box were buried, it’d have been a different conversation. Very good player when confident

I think as fans we just needed a tiny tiny bit of patience and maturity in letting him find his pace,stamina and confidence again after his injury woes.

It was always there and we saw it when we very first signed him.
