Club Wembley on sale for £299

If that price included first class travel to/from your home to Wembley (private car/limo) with a halfway stop both ways with a 3 course lunch and wine included I just might be tempted. 😳

It’s not actually that bad, although it is bad if you know what I mean.

I paid £2500 for two corp tickets at Twickenham a couple of years ago and FIFA charged me $2000 USD for the last World Cup QF in Russia.

220 quid for a meal? £70 quid a ticket Good deal?

Corporate leaches sucking football dry and offering nothing. Literally nothing. It's just a slab of real estate with seats. Am I right in thinking the FA don't even own it anymore?

I know what you mean seaside and I'd say you are right.

It will be a century for a decent ticket so a carpet for hospitality is not too bad - but it is bad as you say !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Problem is getting there.... with Im told no trains.... means someone has to drive, then they cant drink, unless you stay over

Its a £500 day out

Im out!!

Just bought two. I would reccomend doing it early to ensure that Sunderland or Lincoln don't get too many. The more Blackpool we have in their the better.

This isn't a dig at anyone doing this. If you can, and will enjoy it, that's great. I hope you have a brilliant day. Genuinely.

I checked and the FA do still own Wembley. That sort of makes it worse. Whether it's us Vs Sunderland or Lincoln, you've got two sets of not exactly affluent fans.

The reward for a season of success is a vastly overpriced trip to some psychopathic vampire cave where our love for our club, town, place is feasted upon and exploited. Where they give you some Lambrini and a pie in return for a week's wage?

Bants aside, it makes me furious that anyone is allowed to open up a stadium for this sort of thing instead of match tickets. It also makes me furious that anyone is allowed to sell tickets for more than £20 or that Tottenham can shove their fans in the top tier so that adverts can cover the seats on telly.

All of this. It's ** ridiculous. This isn't what a governing body of the national sport should do. It's a working class game, not a ** conference centre or pamper spa for the range rover set.

A final at any level should be about accessibility. It should be full of supporters and the event should be priced reasonably.

I hate this horrible trend for increasing prices to support renovation of stadiums to get in more corporate facilities to increase prices to renovate stadiums further to add more corporate facilities.

Again, I'm really, really not having a dig at anyone doing it. I also admire the sentiment that if we can we should as it might free up tickets but honestly... £300 is a week away somewhere, it's an MOT on a car, it's school uniform for a couple of kids and football matches have no right charging that kind of money... especially in this circumstance. it's ** disgusting and I wish people would look harder at the FA and not just when their own club is angered by them.

I am a sanctimonious knobhead. Sorry.

I enquired with Club Wembley after the first leg as I knew I had no chance of regular tickets. They responded quickly to say they’d know on Monday how many seats there’d be as the Club Wembley members have 24 hours first refusal when they go on sale and would be in touch.

100% agree. The fact 20% of all tickets on the day will be in hospitality is ridiculous.

Well I don’t drink alcohol and can’t eat pies so that reduces the value by half.
In my opinion though so what you want to do. As a one off treat why not.
I drink and occasionally eat a cheese pie. Whatever the cost I will be there. Sending wife off for weekend to a Spa will help 🧘🏽‍♀️

Why don’t you offer to drive on here for a couple of people in return for a free ticket?

No car or insurance at the mo and me and my sister are booked in for lunch in Blackpool then a table at Yates to watch the game. We are shopping in the morning first and making it a whole day bank holiday UTP experience 👌
