Man Ure - no explanation necessary

Reactions: ste
Man United, growing up in the 90s so many kids (who didn’t even like football) said they supported them just for playground bragging rights and took the piss out of the few of us who supported Blackpool (our home town)

Hate Stoke too and I have no idea why I just dislike them

Wolves
Man City
Brighton
Crystal Palace

Mainly because, in the past, I have had to put up with arsehole work colleagues who supported them.
But also, unpleasant experiences with football violence from Wolves and City fans.

In order:

Everton - think that their a big club but done nothing recently.
Man Utd - Ferguson and his constant whinging when they lost.
Tranmere - the darlings of the NW TV stations for years whilst every other NW club barely got a mention.
Sheff Wed - Think that they are bigger and better than they are.

It was the same growing up in the 60’s, plastic Man.U kids all over town.

Chelsea - even more so since new owners come in.
Forest Green - that Vince is a nutter.
Oxford - their fans were bell ends about Blackpool over the Brannagan saga.
Bournemouth - rich owners of a shite club with an embarrassing fan base

West Ham (Wembley)
Villa (arrogant fans)
Forest (see Villa)
Sutton United (once had a customer from Sutton who was an arse, it's all it takes)
Morecambe (I'm originally from Lancaster and just can't stand them)
Carlisle (in-bred knuckle draggers)
Barrow (see Carlisle)
Birmingham (thoroughly dislikeable)
MK Dons (franchise)
Crawley (no reason at all, just amazed it's even a place, let alone a football club)
Chesterfield (too many reasons to list)

Do I need some sort of helpline?

West Ham….already well documented as to why above.
Bolton WanKerers….and not just for that day
Oldham for the way they mocked us when they got us relegated….and where are they now🥳🥳…and that ground is like ice Station Zebra even on a good day

…oh and any team we are playing that day😀

As an American, I still got plenty to learn about the EPL and Championship teams, but I have an irrational hatred of Everton. Was pissed they didn’t get relegated last season. Any match they lose is a good day for me.

Don’t even know why. Though initially it was because I couldn’t stand Richarlison (so now I don’t like Tottenham either). But now that dislike has managed to spread to the entire team.

Man Utd (spoilt glory hunting brats) and notts forest were so massive we won the European cup

Newcastle
The best fans in the country lol. Will turn viciously on manager and players when things not going well.
A big club- they haven’t won the league for 96 years lol
Insular- remember the Cockney mafia lol.
And also now the sportswashing. It needs to be called out. If Saudi Arabia ever launched an attack on Iran we’d all feel the consequences. Remember only a few years ago the Saudi army was massed on Qatari border.

Wigan - always hated their fans who for some reason think they are a bigger club than us when they had a bit of success recently. Took the piss when we were relegated from the Prem as well

Liverpool simply because so many people from Blackpool “supported” them when I was a kid just because they were winning everything, ** infuriated me then and still does to this day😡
Kids at my school supported Burnley about 55 years ago when they were doing well then Liverpool. Never understood it!

Manure and their plastic fans especially the ones in Blackpool

Bolton - sometimes more than PNE

MK Dons

Wigan

No time for Real Madrid & Barcelona and the whole Rangers & Celtic thing

In Spain - Tenerfie too

Here in Brazil I took a dislike to Vasco and Palmerias

Are you Living in Brazil Stan?

Blackburn - know a lot of t'Rovers fans and they have a very high opinion of themselves and a club that I always want to fail!

Manchester City ,
There fans wreck Blackpool and cause trouble every time we play them .
There's a couple of City fans I know who are obnoxious.
They tend to try and buy the league and other trophies every year.
Their fans were missing in big numbers when they were in the equivalent to Div 1.
I had my scarf stolen by a group of their fans in the 70s.
I JUST HATE THEM.
It think it was around 28,000 average home attendance that they got in the third tier. Might be wrong and can’t be bothered to check. I take your point on everything else you say, but accusing city fans of being missing in action in not quite true.

This will surprise some. Southampton. I’ve lived in Southampton for a number of decades now and have had to put up with lots of anti-Northern cr@p. Mainly from so-called mates and work colleagues. The usual ‘Northern monkey’ quips and jokes about a Northerner‘s ability to fund trips down South for matches. In my time down here, I’ve always stuck up for ALL things Northern. My dislike of Saints fans started in 1976, when we’d played them (again!) in the FA cup. A group of 4-5 Saints fans tried to trip me up as I was walking home and also made a grab for my scarf. Needless to say, they succeeded in neither, as up ahead there were half a dozen Pool supporters coaches and they bottled it. Load of wet blankets. Can’t say I like West Ham fans too, as I finished my schooling in East London. Right cocky gits, most of them were and just for good measure, our school uniform was claret & blue. 😖 And of course, they were complete tw@ts during our play-off final.

West Ham (horrible fans)
Ipswich - I worked near Portman Road for a number of years, and their fans were arrogant and disrespectful towards me as a Pool fan. So glad they are messing it up again this season
Not messing it up too badly, 3rd in League. But you’re right, they are a strange lot having worked in Ipswich

I though it was a lot less then that , but as it makes no difference to what I still think of them ,I will give you that.

Westham United after the way their fans behaved at Wembley.
Oxford United, went there in the cup my mate was stood with his Mrs and an Oxford fan butted him as he walked past, it all kicked off.

He has one of those faces that you would love to punch

Read the comments under Chelsea's highlights v Fulham where I think they drew. A Chelsea fan commented about the "suffering" of seeing them mid table and many other PL fans were commiserating with them.

Proper pissed me off, but you see a lot of that with the "big clubs". Liverpool I don't mind, always remember them applauding us when we beat them at Anfield, I reckon actual Mancunian Man U fans can be alright, but oh "how they've suffered".

City though I always had a soft spot for, but for me in gaining the world they have lost everything that made them special.

Don't really hate any lower league clubs, obviously have a lot of empathy and always respect someone supporting their less glamorous home town team, even if it's Preston.
